Kenyan footballer Hassan Beja has begun a new chapter in his football career after joining Red Castle FC of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Beja, who previously played for AFC Leopards, has left Kenya after several years of developing his career in the local football scene. FKF Premier League registration records for the 2026/27 season list Hassan Beja among the players who left AFC Leopards.

His career began gaining prominence at Nzoia Sugar FC, where he played alongside several young players who were building the foundation of the team. Nzoia finished fourth in the FKF Premier League in the 2022/23 season under coach Salim Babu, with Beja among the players who emerged during that period.

In 2023, Beja joined AFC Leopards from Nzoia Sugar. He was among the 19 players signed by Ingwe during the 2023/24 season transfer window.

At AFC Leopards, Beja worked under different coaches and gained valuable experience in the FKF Premier League. He was also linked with Kenya’s national teams after being called up to the provisional Harambee Stars squad in 2023.

One of his notable moments with Ingwe came in the 2024 FKF Cup, where he played a role in the build-up to AFC Leopards’ goal against Compel FC.

Beja has now moved to Red Castle FC, a club competing in the UAE Third Division. Competition records list Red Castle among the teams participating in the 2026/27 season, with the schedule also featuring a match against Al Wahda B.

The move gives Beja an opportunity to gain experience playing outside Kenya and continue developing his career on the international stage.

From Nzoia Sugar, through AFC Leopards and Kenya’s youth national teams, to Abu Dhabi — Hassan Beja is now writing another chapter in his football journey.
