Arsenal destroy Fulham 3-0 to keep Premier League title dream alive

Arsenal sent a statement on Saturday May 2, 2026, after dismantling Fulham 3-0 at the Emirates.

Viktor Gyokeres opened the scoring in just the 9th minute, converting a precise cutback from Bukayo Saka to give Arsenal exactly the kind of early platform they needed. From that moment, Fulham never looked like getting back into the game.

The Cottagers tried to stay compact and organized, but Arsenal’s midfield, with Martin Ødegaard pulling the strings, kept finding pockets of space and threading the ball into dangerous areas. Fulham could not handle the tempo or the precision, and it showed every time they tried to transition forward.

Saka doubled the lead just before the hour mark of the first half, finishing sharply at the near post after Gyokeres returned the earlier favor with a perfectly timed through ball. It was the kind of interchange you only see from a team that has been drilled to understand each other’s movement completely.

Then, in the first-half stoppage time, Gyokeres headed home a set-piece delivery to make it 3-0 and seal the result before halftime. A brace and an assist in one half. The man was everywhere.

The second half was essentially a training exercise. Arsenal kept the ball, managed the game, and never broke a sweat. Fulham finished the match with just one shot on target all game.

With three games left and the title still within reach, Arsenal look exactly like what they are right now. A team that knows how to win.
