Kenya’s construction sector is set for another international industry gathering as Big 5 Construct Kenya returns for its ninth edition at Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi from October 21 to 23, 2026.
The exhibition comes as Kenya’s construction project pipeline reaches an estimated $26 billion, according to Construct Africa, underscoring the scale of infrastructure and building activity in the country.
More than 150 exhibitors from over 25 countries are expected to participate in the three-day event, organised by dmg events. The exhibition will bring together contractors, developers, architects, engineers, manufacturers and other industry players to showcase construction materials, equipment, technologies and specialist services.

The construction sector recorded a significant recovery in 2025, growing by 6.8 per cent after contracting by 0.7 per cent in 2024, according to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics’ Economic Survey 2026.
Kenya also accounts for 64.4 per cent of the identified construction project value in East Africa, according to Construct Africa, making it one of the region’s key construction markets.
“Kenya’s substantial project pipeline is creating demand for a broad range of products, expertise and specialist services,” said Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President at dmg events.
International participation will include companies such as Liebherr, Silkcoat Paint Company, GRUPO B&M, Krypton Chemical, Ceramica Cleopatra, MC-Bauchemie and RIB Software. Country pavilions from China, Egypt, Germany, Italy and Türkiye will also feature.

Kenyan exhibitors include Kohler East Africa, Henkel Kenya, Wood Products Kenya, Elite Tools, King Tiles, Jafree Trader/BTALI and Neuce Paints.
The exhibition will cover areas including construction equipment, building materials, concrete and cement, digital construction, HVACR, MEP, intelligent buildings, modular construction, solar solutions and building finishes.
A new Big 5 Impact Trail will also highlight selected environmentally focused construction solutions, including resource-efficient technologies and lower-impact materials.

Alongside the exhibition, the CPD-certified Big 5 Talks will bring together industry experts to discuss architecture and design, project management, technology and innovation, sustainability and contracting.
Speakers will include representatives from the Ministry of Roads and Transport, National Construction Authority, Architectural Association of Kenya, FIDIC, Turner & Townsend and other industry organisations.
The event is free for trade and industry professionals aged 21 and above.
