A court in Kajiado has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for defiling a 9-year-old girl.

Principal Magistrate Vicky Kachuodho ruled that the prosecution had proved their case beyond reasonable doubt and sentenced Dominic Manua to life imprisonment.

The court further noted that the testimony of the witnesses was truthful, reliable, consistent, and fully corroborated.

The convict defiled the minor in February 2022.

The case was prosecuted by Edith Ireri, Gladys Bor, Angela Odhiambo, Atina, Winny Bati, Maureen Ooko and Muviu Kilunda.
