Premier League Trophy arrives in Nairobi ahead of Guinness fan tour

The iconic Premier League Trophy has arrived in Nairobi ahead of a fan tour and a series of Guinness Matchday events set to bring football supporters together in Kisumu and the capital.

The trophy’s arrival on October 13, 2026, marks the start of activities organised by Guinness, the Official Beer of the Premier League, giving local fans an opportunity to see the prestigious silverware up close while enjoying live screenings of Premier League matches.

According to Guinness, the trophy will be showcased in Kisumu on Friday, October 16, before heading to Nairobi for the fan experience scheduled for Saturday, October 17.

The events will form part of the Guinness Matchday experience, which combines live football screenings with opportunities for fans to celebrate their passion for the English Premier League.

Guinness Brand Manager Joy Murugi said the initiative reflects the brand’s commitment to providing consumers with premium football experiences while recognising the strong following the Premier League enjoys in Kenya.

Murugi noted that bringing the trophy to the country would add to the excitement surrounding Matchday and give Kenyan supporters an opportunity to connect with one of football’s most recognised symbols.

In Kisumu, fans can visit Dondez and Berlin Lounge on Friday, October 16, while the Nairobi events are scheduled for 1824 and Kettle House on Saturday, October 17.

The events will feature live screenings of weekend fixtures, alongside opportunities for supporters to interact with fellow football enthusiasts and experience the Guinness Matchday atmosphere.

The trophy tour is expected to draw fans eager to get a closer look at the silverware and celebrate their shared passion for the Premier League.
