PS Omollo inspects Kericho Green Stadium ahead of 2023 Mashujaa Day celebrations

Interior Principal Secretary Dr. Raymond Omollo on Thursday, August 24 led the National Celebrations Steering Committee in supervising the ongoing preparations for this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations in Kericho County.

The event will be held at Kericho Green Gardens, becoming the first-ever national celebration to be held in Kericho.

The theme of the 2023 Mashujaa Day – which will be held on October 20 – is ‘Universal Health Care’ (UHC).

Also present during the inspection of the venue include; PSs Mary Muthoni (Health), Dr. Paul Rono (Water), and Harry Kimtai (Medical Services).

Last year, President William Ruto presided over his first Mashujaa Day celebrations as the Head of State at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi.
