Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has rejected reported overtures to join President William Ruto’s administration, declaring that he would not be part of what he described as a failed government.
Speaking on November 1, 2026 during a church service at AIC Kyemutheke Church in Kyumvi, Kalonzo said he had seen reports in newspapers and heard discussions on broadcast media suggesting that the government was seeking to bring him into the regime.
He declined the overtures, telling the regime “thank you, but no thank you,” and maintaining that he would not join what he described “as a failed predator regime.”
Quoting Proverbs 29:2, Kalonzo said the people mourn when the wicked bear rule and rejoice when the righteous are in authority.
Referring to the song Nitarejeshewa, he told Kenyans that their country would be restored under the United Alternative Government in Waiting. He pledged to end corruption, high taxation, abductions and killings.
Turning to road safety, Kalonzo mourned the many Kenyans who have lost their lives in recent accidents along the Mombasa Highway, including church members and pilgrims.
He reaffirmed his commitment to fixing the highway, declaring that it would be his first priority as President if elected.
The Wiper leader also paid tribute to the late veteran journalist Kitavi Mutua, revealing that the journalist had been working with him on his second autobiography before his passing.
He further called upon county governments, particularly those in areas prone to snakebites such as Kitui County, to ensure that every health facility is adequately stocked with antivenom.
Kalonzo was accompanied by Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, WPF National Chairman Jamleck Kamau, Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu, Machakos Woman Representative Kamene, Kitui Central MP Makali Mulu, Kibwezi East MP Jessica Mbalu and other leaders.
