Arsenal Lirhembe qualify for Cleo Malalah Super Cup final after edging out ‘bullfighting’ derby rivals Titan FC

Arsenal Lirhembe from Kakamega County became the first team to qualify for the 5th edition of the Cleo Malalah Super Cup tournament.

The Ikolomani Constituency-based club booked their spot at the finals of the fierce tournament after narrowly edging our their ‘bullfighting’ derby rivals Titan FC from Shinyalu Constituency, also in Kakamega County.

Arsenal Lirhembe booked their spot at the finals of the Cleo Malalah Super Cup tournament after beating Titan FC 1-0.

After a tense match at a packed Mumias Sports Complex, Arsenal Lirhembe prevailed with a 1-0 win.

Mumias Sports Complex was filled to capacity by 10 am Saturday, December 30 with soccer enthusiasts ready to witness the first semi-final match putting bullfighting derby rivals Arsenal Lirhembe and Titan FC.

The second semi-final match sees Kona Rangers from Likuyani Constituency, Kakamega County face off with Obucuun from Teso, Busia County, a match that is well-poised at 1 – 1.
