The National Police Service (NPS) has dismissed as fake a letter that had warned Kenyans of an imminent terror attack in Nairobi.
The letter, purportedly from the NPS, had issued a security threat, alleging that the Al-Shabaab terror group would conduct terror attacks within Nairobi before the end of August and September this year.
The letter had urged Kenyans to be vigilant, as well as encouraged social entities across Nairobi to enhance screening at the entrances.
