Hotpoint partners with Glovo to launch faster on-demand appliance delivery in Kenya

Hotpoint Appliances Limited, the leading retailer of electronics and home appliances in East Africa, on Thursday 30th April, 2026, announced a strategic partnership with Glovo, a leading technology platform operating across Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, to offer customers access to on-demand delivery of selected appliances and electronics in minutes.

This partnership marks a significant step in reshaping how customers shop in Kenya, as Hotpoint fast-tracks access to digital-first customers by leveraging Glovo’s extensive and growing customer base. At the same time, Glovo continues to strengthen its position as a leading tech platform for multicategory ordering, supporting local business thrive within communities.

The partnership was unveiled at an event held at the Hotpoint Riara Outlet, introducing a new era of convenience by combining Hotpoint’s extensive product portfolio with Glovo’s advanced tech capabilities for on-demand ordering operations.

Speaking at the launch, Keval Kanani, Director at Hotpoint, highlighted the transformative impact of the collaboration:
“This partnership is a game-changer as it allows Glovo customers to order our products directly through their app and receive them in as little as 30 minutes. Since orders are automatically routed to the nearest outlet for fulfillment, the entire experience is faster, smarter, and incredibly convenient for customers.”

Electronics are being increasingly more relevant on the platform, Cassandra Wagenaar, Retail Lead at Glovo noted:

The integration leverages Glovo’s technology and convenience infrastructure to seamlessly connect online browsing with rapid fulfillment. Customers can easily browse and purchase Hotpoint products through the Glovo app, with orders automatically assigned to the nearest store for efficient processing and delivery.
