The stage is set for an exciting conclusion to the 2026 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Term Two National Games after thrilling semi-final action in volleyball and rugby sevens produced the championship finalists.
Kesogon Sweep Into Girls’ Volleyball Final
Kesogon Secondary School delivered a dominant performance to defeat Kwanthanze Secondary School 3-0 and secure a place in the girls’ volleyball final.
The Rift Valley champions controlled the match from start to finish, winning in straight sets of 25-21, 25-16 and 25-20 to book a date with destiny.
In the other semi-final, Soweto Secondary School overcame Mwitoti Secondary School 3-1 to seal the second spot in the championship match.
Chepsaita and Chesamisi Set Up Boys’ Final
Chepsaita Secondary School proved too strong for Matiliku Boys, cruising to a 3-0 victory to qualify for the boys’ national volleyball final.
Despite a spirited campaign, Matiliku bowed out in the semi-finals after finishing among the country’s top four teams.
Chepsaita will now face Chesamisi Secondary School, who also advanced with a commanding 3-0 win over Masara Secondary School.

Rugby Sevens Finalists Confirmed
The finalists for the 2026 KSSSA National Rugby Sevens Championship have also been confirmed following entertaining semi-final encounters.
In the boys’ competition, Butula Boys staged a dramatic comeback to edge Bokoli Boys 14-12 and secure a place in the Main Cup final.
They will face Cardinal Otunga Mosocho in what promises to be a thrilling title decider, while Bokoli Boys will battle Upper Hill School in the third-place playoff.
