Tupac Shakur autopsy photos shown in court nearly 30 years after his death

Graphic autopsy photos of Tupac Shakur were shown to jurors during the trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis in Las Vegas.

The photos were presented as prosecutors continued to explain the events surrounding Tupac’s death. Davis is accused of helping organise the 1996 shooting that killed the famous rapper. He has pleaded not guilty.

The images created an emotional moment in court. Some members of Tupac’s family left the courtroom before the photos were shown, while others stayed during the testimony.

A forensic pathologist also explained Tupac’s injuries to the court. The testimony gave jurors more information about what happened after the shooting and the medical treatment Tupac received.

Tupac was shot in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. He was travelling in a car with Death Row Records co-founder Marion “Suge” Knight when another vehicle pulled up beside them and opened fire.

Tupac suffered several gunshot wounds. He died six days later at the age of 25.

Prosecutors said the shooting followed a fight at the MGM Grand earlier that night. They alleged that Tupac and his group had been involved in the fight with Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson.

Davis was later identified as a person who was in the car used in the shooting. Prosecutors accused him of helping plan the attack and providing the gun.

However, Davis has denied the murder charge. His defence has challenged the prosecution’s account of the events.

Tupac’s death has remained one of the most talked-about cases in music history. Nearly 30 years later, the trial has brought new attention to the events surrounding his final days.

For his family, the court case has also reopened painful memories. For fans, it has raised fresh questions about what happened on that night in Las Vegas.

The trial is expected to continue as both sides present their evidence. The court will ultimately have to decide whether the prosecution has proved its case against Davis.

Tupac died at just 25, but his music and influence have continued to reach new generations. The latest court proceedings have once again placed his story in the spotlight.
