United Democratic Alliance (UDA) youth leaders from the Gusii region have criticised former President Uhuru Kenyatta over remarks he made yesterday claiming that President William Ruto did not win the 2022 General Election.

Speaking in Kisii town, UDA Gusii Youth Chairman Albert Sagini said the former president lacked the moral authority to criticise the performance of the Kenya Kwanza administration.

Sagini maintained that President Ruto won the 2022 Presidential Election, noting that the Supreme Court dismissed petitions challenging the election results.

UDA Gusii Youth Deputy Chairman Joel Atuti also defended President Ruto’s victory, saying he won the election despite the former president having backed another candidate while in office and having access to government machinery at the time.

The two leaders were speaking in Kisii town.
