‎COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli has cautioned DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua against using intelligence reports to gain political mileage, warning that such disclosures could undermine national security.

‎Speaking during a Sunday Mass and fundraising event at Mawego Parish, Atwoli said Gachagua’s repeated references to police intelligence in his political statements were worrying and could expose sensitive security information.

‎Atwoli also called on members of the Linda Mwananchi movement to exercise patience, saying their focus should be on protecting the interests of future generations rather than pursuing political power.

‎The COTU boss further criticised Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, accusing him of dividing and confusing the Mulembe community.

Atwoli claimed Sifuna had betrayed the ideals and dreams associated with the late ODM leader Raila Odinga.
