Musician Kevin Bahati and his wife, Diana Marua, have announced that no cameras, media coverage or live-streaming will be permitted at their wedding on November 6, 2026, even as they keep showing off the guests receiving their prized Ksh1 million invitations.
The couple shared the notice on their social media pages on Thursday, October 29, 2026, leaving no room for doubt about the rules.
“POLITE NOTICE: NO MEDIA, CAMERAS OR LIVE-STREAMING WILL BE ALLOWED ON 6TH NOVEMBER 2026. EACH INVITE GOES FOR 1 MILLION KSH… GET THE INVITE OR GET LOCKED OUT,” it read.

The wedding has been a talking point online for some time, mostly because of the reported cost of an invitation and the calibre of guests being welcomed.
Since announcing their plans, Bahati and Diana have posted videos of the invitations being delivered to prominent figures.
The latest notice, however, places a limit on what happens once the day arrives.
While the couple have been open about the preparations, guests will not be allowed to record or broadcast the ceremony.
It remains unclear whether the couple intend to release their own photographs and videos afterwards.
Bahati announced the wedding on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, saying only 100 guests would attend.
He explained that the ceremony would mark ten years together with Diana, and that he wanted to make their union official as part of the anniversary celebrations.
“Finally, it’s time to mark a decade of love. My love, I give you gifts to celebrate you every year, and this year we are celebrating 10 years, and instead of giving you 10 gifts, I have decided to make it official,” he said.
Diana welcomed the announcement warmly.
“My love, thank you for finally making this decision,” she said.
The couple have built a large following by sharing family milestones and personal moments. Their wedding now appears set to draw a line between the journey to the ceremony, which followers have been invited to watch, and the ceremony itself, which will stay private.
