The Nairobi City Water and Sewarage Company has announced that several parts of Nairobi City County will experience interrupted power supply on Friday, September 11.
In a statement, the water company says the interruption is as a result of the shutting down of the Sasumua Water Treatment Plant, in order to facilitate emergency repair works along the Sasumua–Kabete pipeline.
The shutdown will take place on Friday, September 11 from 6:00 am to Saturday, September 12 at 8:00 am.
“Customers are strongly advised to store adequate water in advance and use available supplies sparingly,” the company advises.
