Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka alias Kawaya has continued his push to have Wiper Patriotic Front Leader Kalonzo Musyoka join President William Ruto’s government, saying the opposition is playing delaying tactics and will eventually betray Kalonzo and opt for another presidential candidate.

Kawaya, speaking today in Machakos County, noted that since independence, only President Ruto has initiated tangible development projects in the entire Ukambani region after the area was abandoned for decades.

He called on Kalonzo to take the bold step and join the government before other opposition candidates in the united opposition betray his candidature.

The vocal UDA legislator says the opposition will not favour Kalonzo’s candidature for the 2027 General Election, hence no single candidate will win against President Ruto at all odds.

“For long, the Ukambani region has been abandoned in terms of development, but since President Ruto ascended to power…” he said.

The push to have kalonzo join the Government has beem ongoing for a while now with some wiper mps defecting to Government side.
