Slovenia hotel is asking for at least Ksh700,000 for a bed used by Cristiano Ronaldo

The hotel bed slept in by Portugal’s and Al Nassr’s superstar forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, is up for auction.

The bed, which belonged to The Grand Plaza Hotel in Slovenia, was used by Ronaldo during his stay when Portugal took on Slovenia in an international friendly, resulting in a 2-0 loss for the Portuguese, their first defeat in four consecutive matches.

According to The Grand Plaza Hotel management, the proceeds from the sale of the bed will be forwarded to charity.

The hotel spokesperson emphasized the exceptional nature of this opportunity, describing it as a special and unique event for fans.

“Since this was a rather special and unique event, we decided to prepare a unique surprise in which all fans can participate. We do not know when we will have the opportunity to host Ronaldo in Slovenia again. At a special auction, we will offer the bed in which the star Cristiano Ronaldo slept at our place. We wish everyone good luck and successful participation in the event.”

The initial bidding for the bed stands at €5,000, but it’s expected to escalate quickly as Ronaldo’s devoted fan base competes for the chance to own furniture that has been utilized by one of the greatest players in football history.

In that match against Slovenia, Ronaldo’s Portugal suffered a 2-0 defeat, with the Portugal stalwart playing the full ninety minutes. Currently, he continues to demonstrate his prowess at Al Nassr, notably scoring a hat-trick in the team’s recent match against Abha.
