Esther Musila, wife to gospel artist Guardian Angel, says her experience in marriage now is very different from her previous one.

The two tied the knot in January 2022. They recently marked two years in marriage in January this year.

Speaking on their podcast, Esther Musila noted the differences between her marriage to Guardian Angel and the first one.

She lost her first husband about eight years ago.

“I enjoy being a wife now, as opposed to my experience in my first marriage. Perhaps in my first marriage, I got married at a young age, and therefore, I didn’t have the opportunity to fully relish the role of being a wife. It was more about other people at that time,” Musila narrated.

The mother of three noted that over the years, her perspective of marriage had changed for the better.

“But now, I genuinely cherish being a wife, and I congratulate and thank Guardian Angel for enabling me to embrace this role,” she added.

On his part, Guardian Angel said marriage had changed his life and career for the better.

“Marriage has been a significant factor in my maturity and discipline. Before marriage, I had a more carefree lifestyle, but now, I understand the importance of responsibility,” he explained.

Despite being on a positive career trajectory before meeting Musila, Guardian Angel said her impact in his life has led to blossoming in some areas.

“My life has evolved positively since being with Esther. I had talent and was making music, but certain aspects of my life hadn’t fully blossomed until I became accountable to someone else. Maturity and responsibility go hand in hand, and I’m grateful for the growth I’ve experienced.”

The two met in 2020 through a friend and hit it off. They have however faced severe criticism over the years particularly due to their age difference.

Guardian Angel turned 35 in March this year, while his wife is 53 years old.
