Tanzanian Bongo Star Harmonize has found himself at the centre of a social media storm after Kenyan content creator Pritty Vishy shared screenshots purportedly showing him sliding into her DMs following his split from partner Frida Kajala, only for him to deny the entire thing ever happened.
The screenshots Pritty shared on Instagram showed someone claiming to be Harmonize greeting her, apologising for previously calling her “mweu,” and asking her out following his breakup with Kajala.
In her version of the conversation, she shut him down, reminding him that she had seen this coming and that she had already moved on with someone new.
Her caption made her feelings about the situation clear: “Si me nilikusho utaachwa @harmonize_tz 🪃 onako sasa. Nisha muvu oni mimi,” – a pointed told-you-so aimed directly at the musician.
Harmonize addressed the claims publicly, reminding followers that Pritty had previously spoken about people telling her she looks like his younger sister, a comparison he had taken positively.
He denied making any romantic move and suggested the whole thing was an attempt to grab his attention.
“The other day she was saying people wanamwambia she looks like my young sister and I was so positive with that. Leo anakuja kivingine AI on it to get my attention,” he wrote, before making it very clear that he was in a good place ahead of his album release and simply did not have the energy for any of this.
“Sitaki drama,” he said.
After Harmonize’s denial went public, Pritty quietly deleted her original post, but not before fans had already saved the screenshots, ensuring the story lived on regardless.
Whether those screenshots were real or cooked up for attention is the question nobody can definitively answer right now.
The two have been loosely connected before, fans have long noted a physical resemblance between them, something Harmonize himself acknowledged, which is probably why the post gained traction so quickly before he stepped in to shut it down.
His focus, at least according to him, is on 31, his new album.
