Kim Kardashian joins growing list of celebrities condemning ICE raid in the U.S

Billionaire entrepreneur and reality television star, Kim Kardashian has come out to condemn  “hardworking people being ripped from their families in inhumane ways,’’ amid the U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids across the state. This development has so far sparked protests in Los Angeles and across other states.

In a statement posted on her Instagram stories on June 10, 2025 Kim stated that she has seen “how immigrants are woven into the fabric” of Los Angeles as lifelong residents, adding, “People cannot turn a blind eye when fear and injustice keep people from living their lives safely and freely.”

The entertainer, with a colossal Instagram following of 365 million, joins a number of influential figures including, Finneas, (musician and brother to pop star Billie Eilish) who through his Instagram page alleged that he was teargassed while attending the protests, accusing authorities of “inciting” violence.

Rapper Doechi, also went viral for her valiant speech at the BET Awards on Monday, calling out U.S. President Donald Trump for deploying the National Guard to curb the Los Angeles protests.

“Trump is using military forces to stop a protest, and I want you all to consider what kind of government it appears to be, when every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us,” she said.

Other celebrities who have spoken out include Actors, Pedro Pascal, Mark Ruffalo and Eva Longoria, singer Kayce and model Chrissy Teigen.

Protests against the ICE erupted in LA this weekend and have since spread to other cities including New York, Philadelphia and Chicago, in response to authorities conducting raids and detaining immigrants.
