Kisii: Five people cut private parts of a man over Ksh1800 debt

A man at Obwari village, in Kisii County is nursing serious injuries after he was assaulted by three men and two women over a Ksh1800 debt.

During the unfortunate incident on Thursday April 18, 2024, the five suspects cut the scrotum and testicles of the 42-year-old man, identified as Albert Matara Makori over failure to pay a debt of Ksh1800.

The incident was reported to the police by the victim’s sister Edna Nyagechanga Nyagosia at Igonga Police station.

“The assailants inflicted deep cuts on the man’s testicles over Ksh1800 money owed to the victim by one of the two ladies who attacked him at Obwari village, Boroko sub-location and Bomariba location.

“The said victim was also hit on the upper jaw of his mouth. He was rescued by members of the public to New Hope Nursing Home hospital Gesonso where he is undergoing treatment in Kisii County.

“Police officers from Igonga police station visited the victim to the said facility and found him undergoing treatment in stable condition awaiting to be ferried to Nairobi for specialized treatment,” read part of the police report.

Matara also sustained a broken upper jaw during the incident.

The medical doctors at the health facility are yet to release a report on whether the victim can continue siring children after his testicles were seriously damaged.
