The mystery surrounding the name of baby girl of Tanzanian power couple Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu has finally been put to rest. Drum roll…..her name is Sandrah Naseeb.
The Tanzanian power couple’s daughter has officially been named Sandrah Naseeb Issack, according to her birth certificate, with the revelation coming during the family’s celebrations marking her 40th day.
Zuchu’s mother, veteran singer Khadija Kopa, unveiled the baby’s name on Saturday, September 12, 2026, as the family gathered for the special ceremony.
Khadija revealed that she had received an envelope containing the newborn’s birth certificate before announcing the name recorded on the document.
“Na nimepata hii bahasha na ina cheti ndani na jina la mtoto lipo hapo. Haya jamani jina la mtoto wetu ni Sandrah Nasibu,” Khadija said.
But there was more. Khadija also revealed that the baby has another name Sanura explaining that the name was chosen in honor of her paternal grandmother.
“Kwa jina jingine Sanura. Hili jina ni la bibi yake baba,” she added.
The birth certificate, which Khadija displayed during the ceremony, lists the baby as Sandrah Nasibu Issack. It also records her place of birth as Saifee Hospital in Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam.
The document identifies the mother as Zuhura Othman Soud and the father as Nasibu Abdul Issac, the official names of Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz.
A name kept under wraps
The revelation comes after weeks of speculation among fans, who had been eagerly waiting to discover what Diamond and Zuchu had named their daughter.
The couple welcomed their first child together on August 2, 2026, following a highly publicised chapter in their relationship that had seen them announce their separation and mention divorce proceedings.
However, the two eventually reconciled, with their reunion becoming increasingly evident in the period leading up to the birth.
Their decision to keep details about their newborn private only fuelled curiosity, particularly around the baby’s name.
That mystery was finally broken by Khadija during the 40-day celebrations.
A Grand Welcome For Diamond and Zuchu’s Daughter, Sandrah Naseeb
Since her arrival, the baby girl has received plenty of attention from fans across East Africa and beyond.
Diamond pulled out all the stops when Zuchu and their newborn daughter were discharged from hospital on August 4.
The mother and baby reportedly left the hospital in a convoy of more than 50 luxury vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce, before heading to the home of Diamond’s mother, Mama Dangote.
The newborn was then formally introduced to her grandmother and the extended family.
Now, with her official name finally out in the open, fans have another detail to celebrate about the newest addition to the Diamond and Zuchu family.
Sandrah Naseeb has officially entered the spotlight.
