Police in Mombasa have arrested Abdulkadir Mohamed, the leader of the notorious Kibokoni Panga Boys that has been terrorizing residents of Kibokoni on Sunday 7th, April.
Abdulkadir was captured by officers from Mombasa’s Central Police, who acted on intelligence while he was attending a football match on Sunday evening.
Linked to his arrest, the suspect together with his brother Hassan Noor were caught on camera terrorizing residents in Kibokoni.
In October 2023, the two were involved in assaulting residents, resulting in one individual sustaining severe injuries from a machete.
Since the incident, the police has been searching for Abdulkadir and his brother.
