The Principal Secretary for Internal security and National Administration Dr. Raymond Omollo says that preparations for the national celebrations of Madaraka Day at the Masinde Muliro Sports Ground in the Kanduyi, Bungoma County are progressing well.

He mentioned that the military has been involved in completing the construction.

Speaking during his visit to the venue on Tuesday, May 14, PS Omollo emphasized that the Military, in collaboration with the National Youth Service (NYS), is working together with the contractor to advance the project.

He expressed confidence that the field will be ready for the national Madaraka Day celebrations on the first of June.

His statement was endorsed by the Bungoma County Governor, Ken Lusaka, who stressed the county’s cooperation with the central government to ensure the smooth coordination of these celebrations.
