Detectives from Parklands have arrested two suspects in connection with the theft of property belonging to the Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen).
The stolen items included an HP laptop and an iPad stolen from the company’s premises on September 14, 2026.
Working on investigative leads, detectives tracked down and arrested the first suspect in Imara Daima, Nairobi, recovering several items of investigative interest from his possession.
The trail then led to a second suspect, from whom an HP laptop was recovered.
A serial number verification confirmed the device was the same laptop previously reported stolen from KenGen.
Both suspects remain in police custody as detectives continue pursuing leads to recover the remaining stolen property and establish the full circumstances surrounding the theft.
