Zuchu’s banger hit ‘KwiKwi’ makes history, hits 50M views on YouTube

Zuchu, the Tanzanian sensation, has once again etched her name in the annals of musical history, her melodic prowess setting the stage ablaze hitting 50 million views on YouTube.

With the dance video for her enchanting anthem “Kwikwi,” she’s orchestrated a symphony of success, surpassing a staggering 50 million views on YouTube.

Zuchu’s video becomes the first song to achieve this milestone in East Africa. She is also the first female artiste to soar to such celestial heights.

Under the banner of WCB Wasafi Records, Zuchu has become a maestro of milestones, continually shattering barriers since her signing in 2020 by the illustrious Diamond Platnumz.

“History continues to be written by Zuchu from WCB Wasafi Records. The first dance video ‘Kwikwi’ from East Africa to clock at over 50 million views,” read a post from Zuchu.

But Zuchu’s ascent to musical eminence doesn’t end there. In a crescendo of triumph, her anthem “Sukari” achieved a monumental milestone, crossing the monumental threshold of 100 million views on YouTube.

With this triumph, she not only solidifies her status as an icon but also becomes the first artist from East Africa to bask in such monumental glory.

In March 2024, the WCB signee made another history with her banger song #Sukari. She was filled with jubilation and posted, “History has been written today. Viewers Milioni 100,000,000 Za Sukari zinanifanya Kua msanii Wa Kwanza kutoka East Africa Kufika Mafanikio Haya Kwenye Wimbo wa peke yangu,” Zuchu said in post. 

“#Sukari was and still is A masterpiece.Wimbo ulionibadilishia Maisha Kwa kiasi Kikubwa na leo umeandika Historia Kubwa kwenye Tasnia Ya muziki Afrika Mashariki 3 Years Ago we released a banger !! #SUKARI,”.

Adding, “Today I become the First Solo artist in East Africa to ever Reach this milestone with 100+ viewers on YouTube. To my family thank you so much haya ni mafanikio yetu wote tuliowezesha ukubwa wa hii project I appreciate you 🫡

This milestone makes her stand out as the crème de la crème and be crowned the best female artist from East Africa.

Apart from her natural inborn singing talent, she has received massive support from her boss Diamond Platnumz, who has helped to shape up her musical career and catapult her to greater heights receing global recogntion and awards.
