Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has praised his free online revision classes, claiming that 90 per cent of the topics he covered featured in the 2026 KCSE Mathematics Paper 1.

He also says his predictions on the examination questions were highly accurate.

In a post on social media on November 4, 2026, Owino told candidates that following his lessons closely was enough to put an A within reach.

“90% of what we revised was tested, and our predictions were 90% accurate. If you followed everything I taught you, you should get an A plain, even without attending a single class. Preparation pays!” he wrote.

The claim came after candidates sat the Mathematics Paper 1 exam, with many noting that the paper featured topics that were heavily emphasised in his online streams.

Ahead of the national exams, MP Babu Owino hosted intensive revision sessions across Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X and Instagram, focusing on the more challenging areas in Mathematics Papers 1 and 2 as well as Chemistry practicals.

The free initiative has drawn tens of thousands of live viewers among Kenyan high school candidates looking to boost their performance.

Owino announced the return of the classes on Friday, October 23, saying they would resume on Sunday, October 25, at 7.30pm.

“Our classes are back. On Sunday, 25th October, we will be revising the 2026 KCSE Mathematics Papers 1 and 2. The revision will cover key topics that are frequently tested to help students prepare better for their exams. Don’t miss out,” he wrote.

The MP started the online revision sessions in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the country was under lockdown, to help KCSE candidates keep studying.

This year’s oral, practical and selective technical subject exams began on October 19 and ended on October 30, while the main written papers run from Monday, November 2 to Friday, November 20, 2026.
