Kenyan TikToker, choreographer and musician Collins Kuria, popularly known as Collo Blue, is putting his dance skills to the ultimate test and he wants Kenya’s best dancers to step up.
The entertainer has thrown down the dare to dancers who have questioned his talent, challenging them to select their best performers and face him in a one-on-one dance battle.
And there’s one catch: this won’t be a TikTok dance challenge.

Collo Blue: “Bring Me Your Best Dancers”
In a video shared on TikTok on Monday, September 14, Collo Blue hit back at critics who claim he cannot sing, rap or dance and that he is too old to keep dancing.
“Mnasema Collo Blue hana talent, hajui kuimba, ameezeka, aache kudance. Tunakosea heshima,” he said.
He then issued a direct challenge to dancers who believe they can match his skills.
“I want all of you to come together and bring me your best few dancers, probably one or two. I want to go face to face with the dancer. It won’t be those TikTok dances that we are used to,” Collo Blue said.
The challenge appears aimed at settling the growing debate over whether Collo Blue still has what it takes to hold his own against Kenya’s top dance talent.
“I started dancing in 2016”
Collo Blue is confident he has the experience to back up his bold talk.
According to the entertainer, his dance journey began in 2016, shortly after completing Form Four. That means he has spent roughly a decade honing his craft.
“I started dancing in 2016, when I finished Form Four. It’s 10 years now, and I’ve been in the game for so long,” he said.
He urged any dancer convinced they can beat him to accept the challenge and help bring the argument to an end.
“If you are a dancer and feel we can go for a dance battle, then let’s finish this debate once and for all,” he added.
From dance battles to music and TikTok fame
Collo Blue has carved out a name in Kenya’s entertainment scene through dancing, content creation and music.
While his online presence has expanded into singing and rapping, dance remains one of the foundations of his creative identity.

Now, he wants critics to stop arguing online and settle the matter where it counts on the dance floor.
The question is: which Kenyan dancer is brave enough to take Collo Blue up on the challenge?
The “King of TikTok Challenges” and Industry Insights
Despite being widely addressed as the “King of TikTok Challenges,” Collo Blue humbly dismissed such titles, emphasizing his sole focus on passion for his craft.
He has earned widespread acclaim for creating vibrant dance challenges for hit songs like “Extra Pressure,” “Kudade,” and “Kuna Kuna” since joining TikTok.
Collo also praised artist Savara, revealing that over a million shillings were invested in the “Show You Off” music video, with Savara entrusting him with its choreography. He added that they had already utilized half the budget after being paid for the work.
